Top Slab Reinforcements

Design of slab top reinforcement is made in this section.

Figure 1

Click Generate Reinf. Rectangles Reinforcements button as shown in Figure 1 to generate rectangles where the reinforcement will be placed.

Stress line generation must be done before the generation of reinforcement rectangles.

Reinforcement rectangles illustrated in Figure 2.

Yellow rectangle is intensity rectangle, white rectangle is distribution rectangle and navy blue rectangle is reinforcement length rectangle.

Figure 2

Click Draw Slab Reinf. button as shown in Figure 1 to draw additional reinforcement manually. Then click Draw Region button as shown in Figure 3 to draw region for reinforcement.

Figure 4

Rebar, spacing, #of rebar properties of strip areas can be edited as shown in Figure 4. Reinforcement data will be automatically written on reinforcement drawing as illustrated in Figure 4.

D/C ratio will be automatically calculated depending on SAFE results and rebar data entered.

Click Show Region button as shown in Figure 4 to see where reinforcement region is.

Click Merge Reinforcement button as shown in Figure 1 to merge reinforcements where their regions are intersected as illustrated in Figures 5-6.
