Stories
Within this section, you have the capability to generate modeling and plan drawings for the building.
→ Click the ”Add” button (Figure 1) to add stories and enter the number of stories (Figure 2).
Upon entering the total number of stories, a generic naming convention, and story numbers are automatically generated.
Figure 3 tabulates the spreadsheet information specified below.
→ Enter the elevation of each story to automatically calculate the corresponding story height values, or enter the story height of each story to automatically calculate the corresponding story elevation values.
→ Optionally, select the drawing file for the story.
Uploaded drawing files must be assigned as the drawing file for a story in order to overlay the reference drawing.
→ Optionally, select the default material for the slab, column, and slab rebar for each story.
If default material parameters are set prior to modeling the story, the drawn slab, column, and rebar will automatically be assigned the default material properties.
→ Optionally, set a similar story.
CSI SAFE results of the story set as a similar story to another story will be used for the similar stories.
In Figure 4, the selected drawing file from the dropdown menu of the imported drawings (refer to Figure 3) is displayed. Additionally, the drawing file can also be selected from the corresponding dropdown menu of the individual story. The same concept applies to the default definitions of slab material, column material, and slab rebar material.
