Materials

Materials are defined in the Materials section. Materials can be defined either by importing them from the AEC|BOLT BIM Cloud Library database or by providing user input.

To import material definitions from the database, follow these steps:

→ Click on "Material DB" (refer to Figure 1).

→ From the list shown in Figure 2, select the required materials.

→ Click the "Import" button.

To define a custom material, follow these steps:

→ Click on the "Add" button displayed in Figure 1.

→ Enter the values of parameters such as modulus of elasticity, unit weight, etc., as shown in Figure 3.
