Assigning a pile cap to a vertical member is performed on this menu.
Assigning Template
→ Click the “Assign Pile Cap Template” button and select columns or shear walls to assign pile templates (Figure 2).

→ Select previously imported pile templates for selected columns or shear walls (Figure 3).
How to import a pile template is explained in the Templates page. Importing templates is a prerequisite for assign operations.

→ Enter the soil embedment distance of the pile in the spreadsheet.
Assigning Custom Pile Cap Definition
Custom pile caps are assigned automatically to the columns or shear walls of which the pile cap is drawn.
The Custom page explains how to edit custom pile properties.
→ Enter the soil embedment distance of the custom pile cap.
Remark
(Assign pile cap templates):
Once you define a custom pile cap, databased-templates will not be available to assign other than the defined custom pile template.
