Deck Construction [EX1-PIG]
Please follow the instructions provided below to define construction of bridge components.
1 | Navigate to Loading > Construction > Superstructre > Deck Construction |

2 | You should specify the states of deck construction stage, which include deck pouring and hardening, in this section. | |
3 | Click three-dots icon on Pouring Stage (Weight Only) cell. | |
4 | Choose the "Pouring Stage" where the deck is poured, and only its self-weight will be applied during this stage.

5 | Click three-dots icon on Hardening Stage (Gains Stiffness) cell.
Select the "Hardening Stage (Gains Stiffness)" during which the deck gains stiffness

6 | In the corresponding stage, select the deck that is to be constructed. | |
7 | Provide the start and end skew values. Additionally, set "Haunch Load" to "Included" to incorporate the haunch load in the Finite Element Analysis. | |
8 | Navigate to the Longitudinal tab and enter the stations for deck pouring in the longitudinal direction. | |
9 | Navigate to the Transverse tab. |

10 | In this tab need to define the construction type used in the transverse direction of the releated deck.
As a construction method, the deck will be poured in the transverse direction continuously and as a whole | |
11 | In the typical design process, the deck is poured in one step in the transverse direction. However, for rehabilitation projects, this partial construction feature becomes important.
If the Transverse Construction Type was initially assigned as partial, values should be assigned to the corresponding parameters to complete the construction type.

12 | Repeat the previous steps to create all Deck Construction in this project. |

2 | Copy Deck Casting, Longitudinal and Transverse from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
