Pier Column Code Check [EX1-SIG]

After clicking on ‘Substructure Code Checks> Pier Column Code Check' in the navigation treeview, follow the steps to define the Pier Column Code Check. You can use the collapsed documentation page below for more information on the explanations of each parameter.
| 1 | Click the three-dots icon on the Code Check Template cell, and then set PierTemp. |

| 2 | As a result of these operations, an issue will appear on the OpenBrIM screen. This does not necessarily mean that any operation was done incorrectly. The issue will be resolved when the pier is defined in the next step. |

| 4 | Click the three-dots icon on the Pier cell, and then set PierColumn5. |

| 5 | Click three-dots icon on the Code Check Loc and Rebar Data cell and click Edit.

| 6 | Click three-dots icon on Section cell and select a Section as PierColumnRec.

| 9 | Keep the Force Station as default. | |
| 10 | Click the three-dots icon on the Stirrup Rebar Profile cell, and then set ASTMA615No5. |

| 11 | Enter the Spacing of Stirrups as 12. | |
| 12 | Keep the Num. of Legs in Dir. Z and Num. of Legs in Dir. Y as default. | |
| 13 | Click the three-dots icon on the Stirrup Rebar Material cell, and then set A615_60. | |
| 14 | Keep Shear Reinforcement Type as default. |

| 15 | Keep Design Parameters as default. |

| 16 | Proceed to the next step to verify the model. | |
