In this part, several modeling tips providing convenience are mentioned.
AEC | BOLT Building Design Suite (BDS) enables utilization of key practical commands of AutoCAD.
Example 1: Mismatching of reference drawing and the modeled object
You can quickly shift the drawn object by the AutoCAD command “MOVE”.
Similarly, you can also resize an object by “STRETCH” command of AutoCAD.
Example 2 : Sort And Filter data in the spreadsheet
AEC | BOLT Building Design Suite offers the user to sort and filter data in the spreadsheet.
→ Right click to the header of the spreadsheet column to be filtered or sorted as illustrated below.
→ Click Sort/Filter to enable the feature.
The filtering feature is enabled if there is the symbol in header as shown above.
Select data to be shown in the spreadsheet as illustrated above.
The sorting feature is enabled if there is the symbol in header as shown above.
Click the symbol to sort the data.
Example 3 : Hit CTRL+Z to undo the last click while drawing
Example 4 : Click from the lower right corner of any cell and drag to copy information in the cell to other cells as shown below.
Dragging to copy information from multiple columns is also possible.
