1.1 Creating a New Project in Building Design Suite

Please follow below instructions to create a new project.

To create a new project in Building Design Suite (BDS) using the Aecbolt command in AutoCAD:

  • Type "Aecbolt" in the AutoCAD command line and press enter.

  • Click the "New Project" button.

  • Enter a name for your project and click "OK."

Your new project will now be opened in BDS.

To check the version of Building Design Suite (BDS) that is currently installed and ensure that you are on the current version;

BDS version is written in the place displayed with the red box. Check version number.

If the version number does not match the current version, you will need to install the new version from Building Design Suite .

Enter project description.
