To utilize AECBOLT Building Design Suite, it is essential to have AUTOCAD installed on your machine. Please ensure that you have one of the following versions of AUTOCAD available:

• AUTOCAD 2023

Having AUTOCAD installed will allow you to seamlessly integrate AECBOLT Building Design Suite into your existing AUTOCAD workflow. Please ensure that you have a valid license for the selected AUTOCAD version before proceeding with the installation of AECBOLT Building Design Suite.

Please ensure that you download the appropriate version of the AECBOLT Building Design Suite App that corresponds to your specific AUTOCAD version. We have different releases tailored to each AUTOCAD version (e.g., AUTOCAD 2020, AUTOCAD 2021, AUTOCAD 2022, and AUTOCAD 2023).

To download the installation packages, it is required to register at AECBOLT BIM Cloud . Refer to the Sign up [BDS] for instructions on how to register.

Note: If you already have an older version of AECBOLT Building Design Suite installed on your machine and you wish to install a newer version, there is no need to manually uninstall the old version. You can directly install the new installation package, which will automatically take care of uninstalling the previous version and installing the updated one.

During the installation process, you will be prompted to specify the disk location where you want the AECBOLT Building Design Suite App to be installed. Please follow the steps below:

• After launching the installation wizard, carefully read the instructions provided.

• When you reach the installation location section, you will see a field or browse button to choose the disk location.

• Click on the browse button if available, or manually enter the desired disk location in the provided field.

• Browse through your file system to select the desired folder or create a new one for the installation.

• Once you have selected the desired disk location, confirm your choice and proceed with the installation.

By specifying the disk location during the installation, you can ensure that the AECBOLT Building Design Suite App is installed in the directory of your preference.

• Click "Finish" to exit the installation wizard.

Launching the App:

1. Open Autocad on your machine.

2. In the Autocad command bar, type "AECBOLT" (without the quotation marks).

3. Press Enter or click on the "AECBOLT" command that appears in the command bar.

4. The AECBOLT Building Design Suite App will now launch within Autocad, providing you with access to its features and functionalities.

By typing "AECBOLT" in the Autocad command bar, you can quickly and easily open the AECBOLT Building Design Suite App and begin using it for your design projects.
