Design Lane [EX1-SIG]

After clicking on 'Loading> Loads> Inf. Surf Based LL/BR/CE> Design Lane' in the navigation treeview, follow the steps to define the Design Lane. You can use the collapsed documentation page below for more information on the explanations of each parameter.

Click the three-dots on the first cell of the Name and click Import Design Lane.

Import following design lanes from OpenBrIM Library

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Gravity > HL93TwoTrucksAndLane_LL

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Gravity > HL93AndLane_LL

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Gravity > HL93_Fatigue

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Gravity > HL93TandemTruckAndLane_LL

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Braking> HL93_BR

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Braking> HL93AndLane_BR

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Centrifugal> HL93_CE

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > AASHTO Design Lane DB > AASHTO Deflection > HL93_Deflection

After importing the Design Lane, the vehicle objects defined within it are automatically added to the project.

After clicking on 'Loading > Loads > Inf. Surf Based LL/BR/CE > Vehicle' you can examine the defined vehicles.

Proceed to the next step to verify the model.

The completed design lanes are illustrated below. Please verify that you have the same model on your end by examining each view provided here. For more information on how to perform visual checks, refer to the quick tips.
