Gusset Plate [EX1-SIG]

After clicking on 'Superstructure> Connections> Gusset Plate' in the navigation treeview, follow the steps to define the Gusset Plate. You can use the collapsed documentation page below for more information on the explanations of each parameter.
| 1 | Click the three-dots icon on the Connection Type cell, and then set BOLTED. |  |
| 2 | As a result of these operations, an issue will appear on the OpenBrIM screen. This does not necessarily mean that any operation was done incorrectly. The issue will be resolved when the bolt property is set in the next step. | |

| 4 | Click the three-dots icon on the Material cell, and then set A709_50W.
If you have reached this stage and you don't have a material to select, and if you want to use the Import Button, you can refer to the Quick Tip. |

| 6 | Go to the Bolt category. | |
| 7 | Click the three-dots icon on the Bolt Property cell, and then set BoltGusset. | |
| 8 | Click three-dots icon on Bolt Arrangement cell and Edit. | |
| 9 | Please enter the following values sequentially: | |
| 10 | Keep the Vertical Dist. btw Bolt Center and Edge as default. | |
| 11 | Enter the Horizontal Dist. btw Bolt Center and Edge as 2.5. | |
| 12 | Enter the Spacing btw Rows as 3. | |
| 13 | Keep the Spacing btw Columns as default. | |
| 14 | Return to the Plate category and set name as GSK_TOP. | |
| 15 | Enter the Height as 14. | |
| 16 | Enter the Width as 16. | |
| 17 | Keep the Thickness and Display Settings as default. |

| 18 | To model all the gusset plate, copy the data below and paste the parameters into the first cell in OpenBrIM spreadsheet. Refer to the quick tip for an easy guide on how to perform the copy operation. After completing the copy, proceed to the next step to verify the model. | |
