End Bent [EX1-CUG]
Please follow the instructions provided below to add the End Bent
1 | Navigate to Pier > End/Interior Bent |

2 | Click three-dots icon on the Location cell and select SL1 & SL4 By making this selection, the placement of the End Bent is determined.

3 | Given that EB1 and EB2 (EndBent) are identical, it is necessary to input the same parameter values for both. |

4 | Click three-dots icon on the Straight - Tapered Section / Length Section cell and click Edit. | |
5 | Click three-dots icon on the Start Section cell and click Select for EB1 (1st End Bent ).
Select "EBSec" as the Starting Section. Also click three-dots icon on the End Section cell and click Select. Select "EBSec" as the End Section.
Enter Section Length as 45 along Y-Y starting from right . | |
6 | Navigate back to General tab, assign Slope Option as Alignment. | |
7 | Enter Top Elevation Offset from Alignment [ft] value as in the figure | |
8 | Navigate to FEM tab and select a section for Rigid Section. |

9 | The OpenBrIM App automatically select the "RigidSection" object that was defined in the previous step to other objects (such as End Bent, Pier Cap, etc.) that are created for utilization. |
Navigate to End Bent under Pier on the tree view. |
Copy End Bent from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
