3.1 Design Criteria

Please follow the instructions provided below to set the design criteria definitions to be used in this slab design process.

Navigate to the "Design Criteria" section in the tree view.

Once you have reached this section, please click on "Load Template Groups" button. This will quickly download all the codes and checks.

In the combobox that appears, please select "Yes" to the question "Assign?".

Navigate to the "Design Templates" section under "Design Templates" in the tree view.

Once you have reached this section, please click on "Import Design Template" button.

Select all the codes and checks in the combobox that appears and click "Add".

Then, click the "Add Design" button.

Once again, select all the codes and checks in the combobox that appears and click “OK”.

Navigate to the "Rectangular Column Design" tab under "Design Templates" in the same spreadsheet.

In this tab, set the Stirrup Rebar data.

Next, select "Long Rebars" and click on "Import Column Design Template" button.

From the combobox that appears, select and import the rebars that you want to use in the project.

Navigate to the "Circular Column Design" tab under "Design Templates" in the same spreadsheet.

In this tab, repeat the steps you did in the previous step. Set the Stirrup data and import the rebar data from the database.

Navigate to the "Slab Design Template" tab under "Design Templates" in the same spreadsheet.

In this tab, click "Show" in the Rebar Priorites column.

Then click on the "Slab Design DB" button in the combobox and import "Slab Design Template Prefer" rebar data.

Navigate to the "Shearwall Design Template" tab under "Design Templates" in the same spreadsheet.

In this tab, click "Show" in the Rebar Priorites column.

Then, click on "Shearwall Design DB" button, and import the Shearwall rebar data.

Navigate back to the "Design Criteria" section in the tree view.

In this section, fill in the boxes in the "Values" column as shown and in the combobox that appears, select "Yes" to the question "Assign?".

 

 

The “Design Criteria” part is completed in this step.

You can proceed to the “Slab Design” section.
