MPTE Model: Specify the MPTE model you want to generate the report for. The model should be created according to one of the following sections.
Results are presented in both envelope and load case formats. They are shown in both table and plot formats. Tables and plots are displayed for the envelope and for each load case. Plots include the maximum lateral (resultant) displacement, lateral displacement in the X direction, and lateral displacement in the Y direction. Maximum displacements are taken from the pile head nodes.
To identify the asymptote in the Minimum Pile Tip Embedment plots, the lengths of the pile elements should be comparable from one trial embedment length to the next. In other words, selecting the initial and final embedment lengths, as well as the number of trial embedment lengths, is critical to generate appropriate mesh lengths and ensure consistent positioning of soil springs across varying embedment models. If these selections are not made adequately, there is a potential for inconsistent placement of the soil springs (support conditions) and issues with mesh convergence.
