Internal Diaphragm [EX1-CUG]
Please follow the instructions provided below to create Custom Diapgrahm.
1 | Navigate to Diaphragm > Internal Diaphragm

2 | Incorporating a diaphragm within the Concrete U Girders will mitigate these stabilization issues. Consequently, an "Internal Diaphragm" will be specified for each bearing location of the "Concrete U Girders". | |
3 | Click on three dots icon in the Girder cell, and select “CUG1” (Concrete U Girder) This action will unveil the parameters associated with the Internal Diaphragm within the spreadsheet. | |
4 | Enter the "Girder" and "Station" values for all the "Internal Diaphragms" that you intend to establish within the project. |

5 | Provide the thickness value for all the “Internal Diaphragms”. Maintain the Start & End Skew parameters at a value of 0. | |
6 | Assign the material type for all Internal Diaphragms as in the figure. |

1 | Navigate to Internal Diaphragm under Diaphragm on the tree view. |
2 | Copy Internal Diaphragm from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
