Concrete Deck [EX1-CUG]
Please follow the instructions provided below to define Concrete Deck.
1 | Navigate to Deck > Concrete Deck. |

2 | Click on the "Girders" column. Click “pick” from the combobox.
Select the girders graphically you want to create a deck. | |
3 | Click on the three-dot icon located on the first cell of the Cross-Section and click “Edit” | |
4 | Click on the three-dot icon located on the first cell of the “Cross Section Location” Then designate the locations for the “Cross-Sections” data.
Associate a "Cross Section" with each "support line." This assignment will result in a specific deck cross-section being established between the two selected support lines. In cases where the "Cross Section" changes between two support lines, the "Variation w/Next Segment" parameter is employed to define the attributes of the transitions between the sections. |

6 | Navigate back to General spreadsheet. | |
7 | Set Material type as Fc_5ksi. | |
8 | Click on the three-dot icon located on the first cell of the Deck Reinforcement Data and click “Edit” | |
9 | Enter the Deck Reinforcement Data as in the figure. After completing this step, the reinforcement process for the "Deck1" deck will be finished. |

1 | Navigate to Concrete Deck under Deck on the tree view. |
2 | Copy General and 3D Settings from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
