Tributary

Tributary analysis of the building is performed in this section.

To perform the tributary analysis with live load reduction;

→ Set previously imported Live Load Reduction Code For Columns template as illustrated in Figure 1

or

→ Go to Design Criteria and select “Live Load Reduction Code For Columns” template.

→ Go to Tributary Correction Factors spreadsheet as shown in Figure 2

Figure 3

→ Edit the Tributary Area Factor (if needed) as illustrated in Figure 3.

Reducible live load areas of the columns are listed in the spreadsheet after the analysis is completed.

→ Click Run Tributary Analysis button as illustrated in Figure 1 to start analysis.
