Tributary analysis of the building is performed in this section.

To perform the tributary analysis with live load reduction;

→ Select “Live Load Reduction Code For Columns” template as illustrated in Figure 1

or

→ Go to Design Criteria and select “Live Load Reduction Code For Columns” template.

→ Go to “Tributary Correction Factors” as shown in Figure 2

→ Edit the “Tributary Area Factor” (if needed) as illustrated in Figure 3

Reducible live load areas of the columns are listed in the spreadsheet after the analysis is completed.

→ Click “Run Tributary Analysis“ button as illustrated in Figure 1 to start analysis.
