Please follow the instructions provided below to add Custom barriers to Left sides of the bridge.

Navigate to Superstructure Attachments > F Shape Barrier

In the project, no barrier definition has been made for the left side of the deck.

To define a custom barrier for the left side of the deck, click three-dots icon on Deck cell and set Span1.

The "section" parameters we defined in the previous steps will be utilized for the barrier. In this step, the "Exist_Barrier_sw" section, along with its required details and parameters, will be used for the barrier definition.

Please assign the section value to "exist" for the Custom Barrier.

Enter Start Transverse Location and End Transverse Location as -160.43

Enter the name of the Custom Barrier as “CustBar1”

To create F barriers for the 2nd and 3rd spans please follow the previous steps and repeat them accordingly.

 Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction

Offset values use PGL as the reference point.


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Navigate to Custom under Superstructure Attachments on the tree view.

Copy Barrier from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

The Custom Barrier that have been created are illustrated below.


 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
