Please follow below instructions in order to properly set up the material data that will be used in this BDS project.

Table 1: Materials

To set the material data for the BDS project, navigate to the "Materials" option in the tree view.

Then, click on the "Materials DB" button, and select the desired MaterialsDB from the combobox, then click "import" to add it to the project.

Check that the Materials database are imported.

Please follow below instructions in order to properly set up the rebar data that will be used in this BDS project.

Go to Rebars from tree view.

Click “Rebar DB” button.

Click on the RebarDB checkbox in combobox and import

Assign material type to imported rebars

Please follow below instructions in order to properly set up the Load Classes that will be used in this BDS project.

Go to Load Classes from tree view.

Self Weight load is already defined. Click the “Add” button to define another load class.

Set Live Load Reduction condition and types of all Load Classes

Please follow below instructions in order to properly set up the Load data that will be used in this BDS project.

Go to Loads from tree view.

Click “Load DB” button.

Click on the “PassangerVechiles” checkbox in combobox and import.

If you want to enter a user defined load, click the "Add" button.

Name, Load Class, Type and Magnitude data must be entered for each adding "Load".

Please follow below instructions in order to properly set up the Load Combination Table data that will be used in this BDS project.

Go to Load Combination Table from tree view.

Click “Combination DB” button.

Click on the “D+F” checkbox under Service Limit State in combobox and import.

If you want to enter a user defined Load Combination, click the "Add" button.

Please follow below instructions to import Drawing Files

Go to Drawing Files from tree view.

You can save the selected file to BDS by click the "Open" button.

The “Properties” part is completed in this step.

You can proceed to the “Stories“ section.
