Example Description
The frame object end releases are verified in this example.
Three models are used in the example. The models are identical, except for the end releases. Model A has a shear release, model B has an axial release and model C has a moment release.
This model results for the axial force and moment at the fixed support are compared with independent hand calculated results. Note that the models with releases are statically determinate and thus the independent results are obtained using basic statics.
