Please follow the instructions provided below to define construction of substructure bridge components.
1 | In a typical design project, the bearing construction should be performed in conjunction with girder construction. This implies that in the "Girder Construction" spreadsheet, you need to input the same "stage" information for the "Bearing Construction" as you did for the "Girder Construction". This is crucial for ensuring the constructability of the structure.
2 | Navigate to Loading > Construction > Substructure > Bearing Construction
3 | Click three-dots icon on Stage cell and click select.
4 | Select "GirderErection" as stage.
5 | Click three-dots icon on Insertion Points cell and click pick.
6 | Select all of the Insertion Points that were previously defined from the 3D View. Then click Done. |
Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.
1 | Navigate to Bearing Construction under Substructure on the tree view. |
2 | Copy Superstructure Connection Construction from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
