Pile [EX1-SIG]

Follow the below steps to add piles.

1	Go to Pile under Substructure on the tree view.
2	Click three-dots icon on Substructure and select or pick footing.
3	Go to Section Data column. Click three-dots icon to open Edit spreadsheet.
4	You can import or select pile section.
5	Enter the Longitudinal Offset, Transverse Offset, Section Orientation, Ground Elevation, Batter angle and Pile Embedment input parameters.
6	Switch to FEA tab. Click three-dots icon on Pile Properties and edit.
7	Enter Offset from the bottom of the footing.
8	Edit Tx/Ty/Tz/Rx/Ry/Rz properties.
9	Go back and enter Pile Capacity/Top Connection/Generate FEM.

Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction Offset values use PGL as the reference point.

Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

1	Go to Pile under Substructure on the tree view.
2	Copy Pile from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.
3	Go to FEA under Pile on the tree view.
4	Copy FEA data from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
