Follow the next steps to add the pier columns.
1 | Go to Pier Column on the tree view. | |
2 | Click three-dots icon on the Pier Cap cell and select a pier cap. | |
3 | Click three-dots icon on the Section Data and click edit. | |
4 | Follow section import instructions that given previously. | |
5 | The column has the same section from top to bottom, so there is no need to define a section variation along the column length. | |
6 | Enter Section Length starting from top. | |
7 | Select Start & End Sections. | |
8 | Go to FEM tab and set Cap Connection. |
Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.
1 | Go to Pier Columns under Pier on the tree view. | |
2 | Copy Column from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. | |
3 | Go to FEM under Pier on the tree view. | |
4 | Copy FEM data from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
