Follow the steps below after clicking on Superstructure > Steel Girders > Plate Girder in the navigation treeview

Click three-dots icon on Girder Layout cell and set a layout.

Edit the plate girder dimensions. To enter a station-dependent dimension;

Click three-dots icon on Top Flange Width cell and Edit (spreadsheet).

Define the station-dimension relationship on the spreadsheet.

Top Flange Thickness, Web Depth and Thickness, Bottom Flange Width and Thickness, Haunch Thickness, and Additional Haunch Width Parameters can be defined similarly to Top Flange Width.

When encountering the warning as seen in OpenBrIM app, there is a "issue" , it is advised to review the parameters you have provided. This warning suggests that there might be a missing or incorrect parameter in your input. Check inputs to ensure they are accurate and complete.

 Quick Tip

You can set the Top Flange, Bottom Flange, and Web Material, and resolve issues in OpenBrIM.

Click three-dots icon on Top Flange Material cells and select a Material.

Web Material and Bottom Flange Material parameters can be defined similarly to Top Flange Material.

You can edit the FE mesh settings of girders from FEA Settings tab.
