Please follow the instructions provided below to define deck cross-sections.

If the section of your deck varies from the beginning to the end of your project, you should define at least two cross-sections.

In this specific project, the decks undergo changes in their cross-section from the start to the end. Consequently, it is essential to define more than one cross-section to accommodate these variations.

Navigate to Deck > Cross Section

Let's define six different cross sections for this project. To do this, navigate to the first cell in the Name column and enter "CS1" as the name.

Then, add it to the list.

Enter all Cross Section values as in the figure

 Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction

Offset values use PGL as the reference point.


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Navigate to Cross Section under Deck on the tree view.

Copy Deck Cross Section from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
