Please follow the instructions provided below to add Surface Load

Navigate to Loads > Surface Load

Click on the three-dots icon in the surface cell, and set Span1DeckSurface to identify the construction stages that have a surface load.

Define surface loads for each span in the project.

Then enter the names.

Click three-dots icon on Stage cell and click select.

Enter the stage data as follows:

  • SIPLoad_Sp1: DeckConstPour

  • SIPLoad_Sp2: DeckConstPour

  • SIPLoad_Sp3t: DeckConstPour

Enter the magnitudes of the (Surface) Loads to be applied on Surface as in the figure.

In this cell, set the Element's object, which indicates which surface load will be applied to each surface.


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Navigate to Surface Load under Loads on the tree view.

Copy General from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.


 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
