Creating Defining Custom Materials
There are multiple ways of creating defining custom material:
From Data/FEA/Properties/Materials tab to create new material, then from options menu (⋮) click edit
Click ≡ icon on top left corner then go into “Assets” menu. Under the Materials tab click + icon.
After a new material is createddefined, user can enter predefined desired values for :
Mod. of Elasticity
Mod. of Elasticity
Shear Modulus
Poisson Ratio
Density
Thermal Exp.
Type [Concrete Structural Steel, Prestressing Steel, Reinforcing Steel]
Stress/Strain Model [Default, Bilinear Steel, Prestressing Steel, Menegotto Pinto Steel, Mander Concrete]
Yield Stress(Steel)
Ultimate Stress(Steel)
28-Day Strength(Concrete)
Ultimate Tensile Strain(Concrete)
