Circular Column Design
| 1 | Navigate to the C28 C17 (C18-C19) Circular column under the Column Design Line from the tree view. Once there, click "Column Design Line Data" and select "Axial Force Moment Design". Enter the data as shown on the figure. For example: Rebar: #7, Rebar Count: 10 Please note that the "Reinforcement Ratio %" values will change as a result of the entered values. |  | |||||

| 3 | Due to the entered values, Column C28 C17 must be verified again. Please press the "Verify select" button and select C28 C17 column on the CAD side. If the Design State cell shows "Passed" for all stories, the design process is complete. |  | |||||

When you enter rebar count for circular column , BDS automatically determines the placement of the longitudinal rebar.
In addition, BDS allows to manually assign the location of longitudinal rebars.Go to C29 Circular column under Column Design Line from tree view.
Click “Column Design Line Data” and select “Rebar Templates”Click “Draw Rebars” button and enter “2” inch.
