Pile cap can be assigned as pile cap template or as custom pile cap. Before the assignment, pile cap template must be imported or custom pile cap must be created. Importing template or creating custom pile cap is described in Templates and Custom sections under this main section.
Click “Assign Pile Cap Template” button as shown in Figure 1 and select column/columns then press “enter” to assign previously imported pile cap template.
Click “ Assign Custom Pile Cap” button as shown in Figure 1 and select column/columns then press “enter” to assign previously created custom pile cap.

Assigning Template
→ Click the “Assign Pile Cap Template” button and select columns or shear walls to assign pile templates (Figure 2).

Assigning Custom Pile Cap Definition
Custom pile caps are assigned automatically to the columns or shear walls of which the pile cap is drawn.

Remark
(Assign pile cap templates):
Once you define a custom pile cap, databased-templates will not be available to assign other than the defined custom pile template.
