General

...
Under the "General" spreadsheet, the status of the slab design is primarily reflected, encompassing various aspects such as the design of top reinforcement, bottom reinforcement, and punching. The design status for these components is specifically associated with the analysis result source that has been selected.
...
To select the analysis source for the slab design, you can click on the "Analysis Source" button. This button allows you to specify the desired analysis result source, such as "AECBOLTLocalStory" or "CSISafe". For more detailed information on the analysis of slabs, you can refer to the "Revisiting Analysis with a Special Focus on Slabs" section.
🔬Revisiting Analysis with a Special Focus on Slabs:
When designing slabs, there are two available analysis results that can be utilized:
- AECBoltLocalStory
- CSISAFE
🔬 Revisiting Analysis Results with a Special Focus on Slabs:
AECBoltLocalStory: To check the analysis status and design parameters for the corresponding story's slab, navigate to the dedicated slab analysis section.
CSISAFE: To examine the analysis status and design parameters for the slab of the corresponding story using the SAFE software, you can navigate to the dedicated slab analysis section.
🔬 Revisiting Design Templates with a Special Focus on Slabs:
Under the "Design Criteria" section, there is a dedicated subsection called "Design Templates" that deserves special attention when it comes to slab design. Within this subsection, you will find a comprehensive spreadsheet displaying a range of imported design templates (as depicted in Figure 1).
...
The slab design template used for a specific story is assigned from the "Slab Design Template" section.
Once you have completed the analysis source selection and briefly explored the slab design template parameters, let’s proceed with the "General" spreadsheet.
The slab design process consists of three main parts, which are:
-Top Reinf. Design
- Bottom Reinf. Design
- Punching Design
The design status and progress for each of these three parts are reflected in the "General" spreadsheet. This spreadsheet serves as a central location where you can monitor and track the design status of the slab.
Slab Tonnages
...
In the "Slab Tonnage" section, the total tonnage of slab reinforcement for all the stories is reported (Figure 9).

Slab Design Template
The interface mentioned here allows you to assign a pre-defined slab design template to the corresponding slab. By selecting the "Slab Design Template" cell, a drop-down menu will appear, displaying the available options for slab design templates (Figure 10).

The process of creating a slab design template is explained in detail in the "Revisiting Design Templates with a Special Focus on Slabs" section.
