Follow the below steps to add the insertion points where the bearings will be created. |
...
Go to Bridge Geometry > Insertion Point
...
...
Click the three-dots on the first cell of the Location and create the first insertion point by setting its location to Abut1
...
Enter Transverse Offset as -16.5 to relocate the insertion point on the support line
...
...
Repeat the same to create other insertion points and set their transverse offset values

Skew angle and transverse offset parameters for support lines that have skew > 0. User need to enter T value for skewed supports. Image Removed Skew angle and longitudinal offset parameters for support lines that have skew > 0. Image RemovedSupport Lines ( Normal - Offset ) in the figure are parallel. However longitudinal offset parameter for insertion points does not keep their assigned support line orientation. Insertion points are relocated with respect to the imaginary support line at “offset” distance away. |
After clicking on 'Bridge Geometry> Insertion Point' in the navigation treeview, follow the steps to define the Insertion Point. You can use the collapsed documentation page below for more information on the explanations of each parameter. |
1 | Click three-dots icon on Location cell and set a support line as Abut1.
