To create a new project in Building Design Suite (BDS) using the Aecbolt command in AutoCAD:

  • Type "Aecbolt" in the AutoCAD command line and

click

  • press enter.

  • Click the "New Project" button.

  • Enter a name for your project and click "OK."

Then Your new project has been will now be opened in Building Design Suite ( BDS).

To check the version of Building Design Suite (BDS) that is currently installed and ensure that you are on the current version;

BDS version is written in the place shown displayed with the red box. If you are not on Check version number.

If the version number does not match the current version, you will need to install the new version from https://openbrim.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BDS/overview .
