Go to 1st floor under Slab Analysis from tree view.

Fill in the blanks in the spreadsheet according to your project.

Click "Run Mesh" button to check the mesh quality.

Click “Run Slab Analysis” button.

After the analysis is complete, the Slab Analysis results is open.

Here you can see the results for each load case.

  • “Model”

  • “Loading”

  • “Deformed”

  • “Line Forces”,

  • “Surface Forces”

  • “Composite Forces” for each

We can see the results in the browser.
Go to the AEC|BOLT BIM Cloud page and press "Open".
The most recent analysis in BDS is displayed in the browser.


Click "Analysis:: Slab Reinforcement Training Example" and open “AEC_SlabAnalysisTemplate2”.

Click “FEA” button abd Run Analysis.

Open the "DATA" spreadsheet after analysis.
After the spreadsheet is opened, do the following steps in order.
FEM → Node Reaction (Global) → Self Weight

Then hover over the Force Z column. Click on the 3 dots that appear, open "Quick Stats" from the dropdown boxcombobox

The sum value will give total Self Weight analysis result of this Slab.

Go to 1st Floor under CSI SAFE from tree view.

After arrange settings as in the figure and click “Export Safe File”.

For save of the F2K file, select Safe16 as version and save.

Open Safe 2016 and import saved F2K folder.

After the project is imported to Safe, click "Run" button.

After completing the analysis, click the export button and select SAFE F2K File.

Add name to your project, make your selections in the combobox as in the figure.

Click Import Safe Results and select the F2K file saved in the previous step.


As seen in the figure, all rows should be checked.

The Slab Analysis part is completed in this step.
