Please follow the instructions provided below to create Pier Column code check

In this section, please indicate the column or columns to which the code check will be applied.

The code check process will include all four existing columns in the project.

Each column will undergo code check at its starting, middle and end distances.

Navigate to Substructure Code Checks > Pier Column Code Check

Click three-dots icon on Pier and assign all existing columns in the project

(As a different way, the relevant column can be selected on the 3D view by clicking "Pick".)

Click three-dots icon on Template.

 

Select the PierColCCT "Pier Column Code Check" template defined in the previous steps for all.

Click three-dots icon on Section Data and click Edit.

In the Section Data spreadsheet, click three-dots icon on Section and click Select

Select the column section as Circle_exist_column from the combobox.

Repeat this selection process 3 times

Please specify the stations and section data to be checked for code in the “Pier_1” column following the format shown in the figure.

Please apply the same process to other Pier columns as well, specifying the stations and section data to be checked for code

In the Section Data spreadsheet, click three-dots icon on Transverse Reinforcement Type and assign “Tie” all of Pier Column


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Navigate to Pier Column Code Check under Superstructure Code Checks on the tree view.

Copy General from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

The Pier Column Code Check have been created.


 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
