 Load Cases

General load cases such as dead, snow, wind on structure are declared from this tab

Load pattern application settings such as Weight Factors and Load Type can be changed from Data tab.

Response of a structure ( Linear, Nonlinear, Tolerance ) can be modified from Nonlinear tab.

If project have multiple elements that are effected by different type of load cases at the same time, user can arrange a grouping system and interpret it in Settings tab by assigning a Structure Group to a Load Case

 Nodal Loads

Node specific force driven load can be created with this tab.

 Nodal Disp. Load

Node specific displacement driven load can be created with this tab.

 FE Line Load

Line specific point load, point moment, linear load, linear moment can be created with this tab. System parameter defines whether load inputs are calculated using Global or Local coordinate system of related line.

Load Inputs:

  • Direction X/Y/Z

  • Force Magnitude

  • Moment Magnitude

  • Location

 SE Surface Loads

Surface specific point load, point moment, uniform load can be created with this tab. System parameter defines whether Load Inputs are calculated using Global or Local coordinate system of related surface.

 Global Point Load

User defined, coordinate specific force driven load can be created with this tab.

 Global Line Load

User defined, path specific force driven load can be created with this tab. User can define force line direction by entering start-end coordinates under Line Path tab.

 Global Surface Load

User defined, area specific force driven load can be created with this tab. User can define force area by entering X-Y coordinates for corner points under Surface Area tab.

 Temperature Loads

Loads due to temperature change is defined from Temperature Loads tab.

User should define at least 2 different Temperature load to observe effects of temperature difference on objects.

Exp.- Expansion

Contr. - Contraction

 Prestressing Loads

Provided that there are tendons in project, user should provide Start-End stresses for the tendons.

This can be done from this tab.
