Objective
To verify the axisymmetric element under distributed loading when used for plate bending problems.
Physical Problem
Fig. A.3 shows the circular plate to be analyzed. It is a thin plate since the diameter to thickness ratio is 20. The boundary of the plate is simply supported.
Finite Element Model
Ten 8-node axisymmetric elements are used.
