After clicking on 'Properties> Materials' in the navigation treeview, follow the steps to define the Material. You can use the collapsed documentation page below for more information on the explanations of each parameter.

 Materials

(blue star) Click the three-dots on the first cell of the Name and click Import Material.

(blue star) Import following materials from OpenBrIM Library

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material DB (US) > Structural Steel > A709_50

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material DB (US) > Structural Steel > A709_50W

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material DB (US) > Reinforcement Steel > A615_60

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Concrete Material DB (US) > US AASHTO > Fc_4ksi

(blue star) Assign a Stress-Strain model to Fc_4ksi by clicking the three-dots and selecting Edit.

(blue star) Select Stress/Strain model as Mander Concrete

(blue star) Click Save

(blue star) Repeat the same steps from 4 to 6 for A615_60 and select Stress/Strain model as Bilinear Steel

(blue star) Define a new material manually as RigidMaterial.

(blue star) Copy and paste the data below for the RigidMaterial.

(blue star) Define a new material manually as FcCube_NoStiffness.

(blue star) Copy and paste the data below for the FcCube_NoStiffness.

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
