Analysis Setting

Table 1: AEC|BOLT

Go to Analysis. Under the AEC|BOLT tab, go to the Tributary section.
Click on Run Tributary Analysis.

If you have a Live Load Reduction Load, "LLR" should appear in the 1st column.

Set "Do not Consider cut out if area is bigger 100 (ft²) rule" to "80". And make sure the value in the cell is saved.

Click the "Tributary Correction Factors" button under Tributary Analysis Setting.

Check see all the columns with live load reduction in this section.

In the C2 column in the 2nd row at spreadsheet, enter 1.10 to the "Tributary Area Factor" value.
Check the color change of the cell whose value has changed

Changes occurred in the "Changes After Last Code Check" cell because we made a change in Analysis Setting.

Click "View Changes" and check last change

Verifies that changes are saved

Click the "Run Tributary Analysis" button again. After the analysis is finished, check that the "Last Analysis Time" value has changed.

Click the "Tributary Correction Factors" button again. And check that the changed value is present there.

Click the show button as in the figure and check the drawing created in CAD view.

Go to Global FE Model. Change the "Run Mesh" button from False to True.

Click the Generate FEM button. Check values in table and 3D view

Click Run Analysis and perform Analysis.

Set "Line Forces" to the bottom 1st cell.
Set My (Moment) to 2nd cell and Self Weight.CASE to 3rd cell.
Compare the image on the screen with the image in the figure.

Go to Mesh Setting (Slab) under Global FE Model. Set the value of Mesh Refinement to 500

Go to Mesh Setting (Shearwall).

Set the value of Mesh Refinement in X&Y to 500 for SW1 and FW-1

In order for changes to be added to the analysis results, you must have the analysis done again in the Global FE Model.

Go to FE Nodes in the tree view Check that FE Nodes table has been created

Go to FE Lines in the tree view Check that FE Lines table has been created

Go to Foundationwall Analysis below Local FE Model in the tree view.
Select the question "Is Bottom Fixed" to True.

Go to Beam Analysis below Local FE Model in the tree view.

Click Run Analysis.

Click the Settings button in the Beam Analysis spreadsheet and select the Beam cell.

Check the Tributary Area (sqft) values.

Manually click the “Run Analysis” button for the 1st floor beam.

Go to Slab Analysis below Local FE Model in the tree view.

Go to 1st Floor and click Run Mesh

Check drawing on CAD view.

Implement the same steps for the other floors (2nd,3rd and Roof). Make sure it's not an error

Go to 1st Floor below Slab Analysis in the tree view.

Set Design Rebar to #4.

Click Run Slab Analysis.

Check the 3D view on the combobox.

Implement the same steps for the other floors (2nd,3rd and Roof). Make sure it's not an error.

Go to the Etabs App and open new project folder.

Go to Tools at toolbox.

Click on the "MyAecboltEtabsLink" file that downloaded earlier. Click the yes button in the combobox.

Make sure AEC|BOLT ETABS Link window opens like in the figure

Click the Open Project button. In the BDS screen that opens, enter the name of your project and click on the project.

Click the Pull button. Check by Etabs 3D view that this project in BDS is exported to Etabs.
