After clicking on ‘Templates for Code Check and Load Rating> Field Splice Code Check' in the navigation treeview, follow the steps to define the Field Splice Code Check Template. You can use the collapsed documentation page below for more information on the explanations of each parameter.

Click on Name cell and set name as SpliceCCT.

As a result of these operations, an issue will appear on the OpenBrIM screen. This does not necessarily mean that any operation was done incorrectly. The issue will be resolved when the load combination table is define in the next step.

Click the three-dots icon on the Load Combination Table cell, and then set SuperstructureLCT.

Keep the Specified yield strength of the filler plate as default.

Proceed to the next step to verify the model.
