Follow the below steps to add foundation. |
| 1 | Go to Rectangular under Foundation on the tree view |  |
| 2 | Click three-dots icon on Substructure | |
| 3 | Pick pier column/columns |  |
| 4 | Edit Footing properties on the spreadsheet |  |
| 5 | Click three-dots icon on Material and set a concrete material for footing | |
| 6 | Mesh size and number of strips for both directions can be entered in FEM tab. |  |

Follow the below steps to add piles. |
| 1 | Go to Pile under Substructure on the tree view |  |
| 2 | Click three-dots icon on Footing and select or pick footing |  |
| 3 | Click three-dots icon on Pile Section and Pile Section Intersecting w/Footing, then select the pile section | |
| 4 | You can import pile section by following section importing steps that given previously. | |
| 5 | Enter pile X & Y coordinates according to the footing origin |  |
| 6 | Click three-dots icon on Pile Properties and click edit | |
| 7 | Enter Offset from the center of the footing | |
| 8 | Edit Tx/Ty/Tz/Rz properties | |
| 9 | Go back and enter Pile Capacity |
