Pile Caps

Assigning a pile cap to a vertical member is performed on this menu.

Assigning Template

→ Click the “Assign Pile Cap Template” button and select columns or shear walls to assign pile templates (Figure 2).

→ Select previously imported pile templates of selected columns or shear walls (Figure 3).

How to import a pile template is explained in the Templates page.

→ Enter the soil embedment distance of the pile in the spreadsheet.

Assigning Custom Pile Cap Definition

Custom pile caps are assigned automatically to the columns or shear walls of which the pile cap is drawn. Thus, the pile template of the custom pile cap (Pile Cap 1) can not be changed in the spreadsheet, as shown in Figure 3.
