Click “Generate Reinf. Rectangles Reinforcements” button as shown in Figure 1 to generate rectangles where the reinforcement will be placed. Stress line generation must be done before the generation of reinforcement rectangles.

Reinforcement rectangles illustrated in Figure 2.

Yellow rectangle is intensity rectangle, white rectangle is distribution rectangle and navy blue rectangle is reinforcement length rectangle.

Click “Draw Slab Reinf.” button as shown in Figure 1 to draw reinforcement manually. Then click “Draw Region” button as shown in Figure 3 to draw region for reinforcement.

Rebar, spacing, #of rebar properties of strip areas can be edited as shown in Figure 4. Reinforcement data will be automatically written on reinforcement drawing as illustrated in Figure 4.

D/C ratio will be automatically calculated depending on SAFE results and rebar data entered.

Click “Show Region” button as shown in Figure 4 to see where reinforcement region is.

Click “Merge Reinforcement” button as shown in Figure 1 to merge reinforcements where their regions are intersected as illustrated in Figures 5-6. Select the pivot reinforcement then select reinforcements to merge and press “Enter”. Multiple reinforcements can be selected for merging after pivot reinforcement is selected.
