The bracings for modeled Pylons can be modeled by using this section of the workflow.
Pylon Bracing
Pylons: Specify the pylons for which the bracing will be generated.
Elevation: The elevation for the pylon bracing can be specified by this parameter. The pylon's location in the vertical direction will depend on the elevation reference and the value defined here.
Elevation Reference [From Top of the Pylon / From Bottom of the Pylon / Global Elevation]: The elevation reference can be defined as "From Top of the Pylon," "From Bottom of the Pylon," or "Global Elevation."
For Top of the Pylon:
Positive values for elevation will indicate offsetting the pylon bracing in the downward direction.
Negative values will mean offsetting the bracing in the upward direction, where zero indicates the top of the pylon.
For Bottom of the Pylon:
Positive values will mean offsetting the pylon in the upward direction.
Negative values will indicate offsetting the bracing in the downward direction, where zero indicates placing the bracing at the bottom of the pylon.
For Global Elevation:
Zero will indicate the level of PGL, where positive values indicate the upward direction and negative values indicate the downward direction.
Section: A section can be assigned to the bracing using this parameter. The section data will be utilized for the 3D model of the object and will directly influence the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Finite Element Model (FEM).
FEA
Mesh Size: Mesh Size: The mesh size parameter can be utilized to set the maximum distance for a single finite element line.
