General

Stage: Select the stage for the construction of superstructure attachment elements, ensuring that this stage is after the deck has been constructed and has gained stiffness.

Superstructure Attachment Elements: Select the superstructure attachment elements for which finite elements will be constructed or weight loads will be applied.

Self Weight Factor: The Self-Weight Factor is a parameter used to adjust the contribution of an object's own weight in structural analysis. This factor is particularly useful in simulations, as it enables the scaling or modification of the self-weight during finite element analysis (FEA).

Stiffness [Yes/No]: During staged construction analysis, bridge owners typically choose not to consider the stiffness of the barriers to be conservative and only take their weight into account. Select “No” for weight only construction.
