Please follow the instructions provided below to define wind on live loads Lane Position.
Table 1: Lane Position
1 | Navigate to Loads > Wind Load > Wind Load on Live Load > Lane Position | |
2 | Click three-dots icon on Bridge cell. Assign "Bridge1" three times. The reason for this is that there are three lanes on the bridge. | |
3 | Enter Start & End Station [ft] as in the figure. | |
4 | Enter the transverse offset value for each lane to influence the live wind load on the centers of the 3 available lanes. |
Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.
1 | Navigate to Lane Position under Loads on the tree view. |
2 | Copy related Geometry from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |

3 | In this step, assign all "Lane Positions" that were defined in the previous step. | |
4 | Click three-dots icon on Stage cell and click select. Select the Stage to “WindLLStage” from the combobox. | |

6 | Keep "Transverse Force" constant at 0.1 which comes “default” value. |
