Please follow the instructions provided below to define deck cross-sections.

You need to define at least 2 deck cross-sections along the deck.

Navigate to Deck > Cross Section

Click three-dots icon on Support Line cell and set Abut1 and Abut4 Support Lines with no longitudinal offsets.

Navigate to Deck Cross Section tab.

Pick the Girders for haunch locations.

Enter the following data for each Deck Cross Section.

Total Width [in]: 502

 Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction

Offset values use PGL as the reference point.


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Go to Cross Section under Deck on the tree view.

Copy Location, Deck Cross Section from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

The Cross Section that have been created are illustrated below.


 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
