Please follow the instructions provided below to create girder line layouts.

Navigate to Bridge Geometry > Girder Layout

To select the insertion points for define Girder Layout , click on the three-dot icon located on the first cell of the Supports and pick IP1, IP3, IP5, and IP7.

Click Done after the selection of the insertion points.

And then to define another Girder Layout, select insertion points IP2, IP4, IP6, and IP8.

Set Type as curved.


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Navigate to Girder Layout under Bridge Geometry.

Copy Layout from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.


Girder layout is given below.

 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
