Please follow the instructions provided below to create Field Splice code check (according to AASHTO).
1 | In this section, we will assign an "Field Splice" to perform the Code Check. | |
2 | Navigate to Superstructure Code Checks > Field Splice Code Check (AASHTO) | |
3 | Click three-dots icon on Splice and select as SPL3 You can choose more “Field Splice” from combobox. | |
4 | Click three-dots icon on Code Check Template. Select the FSCCTTG1 "Field Splice Code Check" template defined in the previous steps for all. | |
5 | You can make adjustments to the “Girder Parameters” tab if you wish. | |
6 | Navigate to Stiffener tab. Enter data as follows: Transverse stiffener spacing at left girder [in]: 20 Transverse stiffener spacing at right girder [in]: 20 |
Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.
1 | Navigate to Field Splice Code Check (AASHTO) under Superstructure Code Checks on the tree view. |
2 | Copy General, Girder Parameters and Stiffener from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM. |
