Follow the next steps to add the pier cap.

Go to Pier Cap under Pier on the tree view

Click three-dots icon on the Location cell and select a support line

Click three-dots icon on the Section Data cell and click Edit

Enter Section Length along Y-Y starting from right

Select Start Section and End Section

Go back to pier cap, select Slope Option as alignment

Edit Top Elevation Offset from Alignment value

Go to FEM tab and select a section for Rigid Section


Follow the next steps to make sure that inputs are matching with model

Go to Pier Cap under Pier on the tree view.

Copy End Bent from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

Go to FEM under Pier on the tree view.

Copy FEM data from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.


     Completed pier cap is illustrated below.


 Quick Tip

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.
